📢 The Goethe-Institut Cairo is hiring a Communication Officer for its flagship initiative:
“Enhancing the Arts and Cultural Ecosystem in Egypt”

🗓️ Start Date: October 15, 2025 (or later)
⏳ Contract: Full-time (40 hrs/week), limited until October 14, 2026, with a potential extension through August 31, 2028

🌟 About the Initiative

This initiative supports Egypt’s creative and cultural spaces in developing sustainable long-term programming, building local and international partnerships, and fostering youth engagement across the cultural landscape.

🧭 Your Responsibilities

As the Communication Officer, you’ll lead the initiative’s communication efforts and ensure its public visibility by:

• 📣 Developing and implementing the communication plan

• 📊 Monitoring communication activities and outcomes

• 🎨 Ensuring consistent visual identity and storytelling

• 📱 Managing social media and web content

• 🎥 Creating and editing reels, videos, and event footage

• 📸 Photographing and documenting events

• 📰 Handling PR and media outreach

• 🗂 Managing communication-related admin and budget tasks

✅ You Bring:

• A relevant university degree (e.g., communication, culture, arts, social or political studies)

• Experience in communication for large-scale projects

• Proven skills in photo and video content creation

• Fluency in Arabic and English (German is a plus)

• Knowledge of MS Office, social media platforms, and new communication tools

• Passion for culture, creativity, and detail-oriented execution

• Ability to work in a diverse and collaborative team environment
